General information:
Division of Multistage Professional Training of Specialists (DMPTS) is a
central link in the Institute system of continuous education.
The departments of this division train specialists according to unified and
agreed curricula. Since the programs of professional training of a next
stage are based on the program of the preceding one, on the whole, the time
of study is considerably shortened and the level of training is improved.
On finishing each stage a graduate is granted a corresponding diploma.
After stage graduation a student is transferred to a next stage of
professional learning.
The first stage of professional training implies studying in
a secondary special educational Institution after the 9-th form. On
finishing the given stage a student gets a worker profession.
At the second stage of professional training a student is
granted the qualification called Technician. The following secondary
special educational Institutions have certain priorities: the secondary
technical division of KemIFS&T, the
professional school in Biysk,
the mechanical and technological college in Altai territory
, Omsk
college of meat and dairy production, the technological college in Yourga, Novokuznetsk college of
commerce and economics.
The third stage of professional training implies getting
higher professional education in an appropriate specialty at the division
of multistage professional training of specialists.
The students of our division are taught by leading professors of major and
general departments. Eight doctors of sciences (Dr.Sc.)
and more than 80 candidates of sciences (Ph.D.) provide the learning
process.
Students take an active part in Institute and regional student conferences
and Olympiads with the help of highly qualified faculty members of major
departments. Best students have an opportunity to continue their learning
at postgraduate courses.
A student graduating from the Division has great possibilities for his
future career growth.

have their vocational practice at food, chemical, and other enterprises in
different regions of Siberia.

260202 Technology of bread, confectionery and pasta production
Qualification of a graduate- a technologist-engineer.
Specialists of this profile supervise workshops, labs, technical monitoring
departments and other sections dealing with bread, pasta and confectionary
productions and so on. Their work is connected with the production of
primary products, namely bread, flour, pasta, etc. In terms of this
profession there is a specialization called "Certification and
expertise of food products". The graduates
who receive this speciality, participate in
conducting the quality expertise when purchasing, storing, and realizing
the commodity. They evaluate the commodity consumed on the national level,
certificate the production lines and services, and provide the commercial
activities in purchasing and realization of commodities in retail and
wholesale.
260301 Technology of meat and meat products
Qualification of a graduate a technologist-engineer.
The specialists of this direction can participate in designing the meat
enterprises, work at factories processing meat and manufacturing meat
products. As many dietitians think, a relatively healthy person at any age
needs not only vegetable proteins but also animal ones. For this reason
(and also because of peculiarities of our national cuisine and climate) the
given branch is one of the most demanded on the Russian market. Within this
profession there is a specialization "Certification and expertise of
food products". The graduates who receive

microbiology, and practical professional skills. It allows him or her to
work at dairy factories and workshops of any type of property, in different
bodies of the State trading inspection, in scientific and research,
project, and consulting organizations. The dairy industry is one of the
most developed in the food industry. Within this profession there is a

introduce advanced technologies, and supervise the quality of goods,
services, and etc.
140504 - Refrigerating, cryogenic techniques, and conditioning units
Qualification an engineer.
The engineers of this direction deal with assembling and exploitation of
facilities and apparatuses designed for the regeneration and use of
artificial freezing agents, the thermal regimes stabilization in different
objects with solid, liquid, and gas environments. Besides, graduates can
work out and investigate special low-temperature systems.
260601 Machines and apparatuses of food production
Qualification an engineer.
The experts of such a qualification develop, create, exploit, and maintain
machines and equipment designed for storage and processing of raw materials
of agribusiness. An engineer having this profession can work as a technical
master of equipment repair and exploitation, a mechanical engineer of
workshop or industrial enterprises, an engineer in systems safety services,
and a researcher.

Qualification an economist.
The graduates have an opportunity to promote their career in any type of
business. The speciality allows to work in financial branches of enterprises and
organizations of all kinds of property and industries. The experts of this
direction can work as accountants, economists, financial analists, tax inspectors, budgeting experts, and
auditors.
