General information:
The secondary technical division is the part of a continuous training system founded in Kemerovo Institute of Food Science and Technology in 1994. More than 20% graduates continue to receive higher professional education in KemIFS&T at the division of Multistage Professional Training of Specialists.

Kemerovo college of food technology (as the secondary technical division was called initially) was created in 1963. In order to provide Kuzbass baking industry with the staff having a high special education, there emerged the order #37 of July 22, 1963  About organization of Kemerovo college of food technology”. In the same year first 60 people were admitted to learn the speciality “Baking and confectionery industry” on the full-time basis.
The division is localized at two buildings – the academic building and the academic and manufacturing building. There is a dormitory close to the academic building and an athletic stadium. The division has a good laboratory base that includes 12 laboratories, 24 classrooms, 3 computer rooms, the sauna and the wellness center equipped with sports apparatuses, the small gymnasium for shaping, the library, academic and engineering workshops, the academic and manufacturing complex for technologists (the “Baking, confectionery, and pasta production” profession), the experiments laboratory for the profession “Technology of public catering”, the dining-room, and the event-and-meeting hall.

  • 150411 – Assembling and technical exploitation of industrial equipment (in the food industry).
  • 150413 - Technical exploitation of equipment in commerce and public catering.
  • 150414 – Assembling and technical exploitation of the freezing-compressor machinery.
