The scientific and research department (SRD) founded by the order of
the KemIFS&T’s President(2003) is a structure
of the Institute and is subordinated to KemIFS&T’s
Vice President for Research Affairs. SRD was created to supervise, promote,
and realize scientific research in basic directions in the educational
process and production.
Tasks:
- Participation in the development of the most
important scientific and methodological problems of higher education and
postgraduate studies;
- Contribution to the improvement of the quality
of experts and scientific and pedagogical personnel training, to the
qualification growth of the faculty on the basis of advanced
achievements of science and technology;
- Strengthening and developing the Institute
science by guarding the intellectual property and copyrights of the
manufacturers;
- Introduction of research projects directed to
create and/or modernize different forms of knowledge-based production,
raw resources, materials, constructions, machinery and technologies in
cooperation with scientific, project and design, research, and
industrial organizations and enterprises;
- Development of the financial foundations for
research proposals and projects through using the non-budget means and
the innovation activity;
- Development of the scientific and research and
experimental-production base of the Institute;
- Promotion of the Institute and other
organizations and Institutions scientific and technical achievements.
- Expansion of international scientific and
technical cooperation with educational, scientific Institutions, and
manufacturers of foreign countries.
