The Scientific & Educational Center (SEC) was set up by the KemIFS&T’s President resolution
# 199 of April 27, 2006 within the Project of the Federal Tasks Program in
science & technology, 2002-2006 years (the government contract #
02.438.11.7038).
The Center purposes
SEC is focused on the development of the science sphere at KemIFS&T. The Center’s conducts research, technical and
technological work. All its activity is oriented to realize the so-called
Priority and Boundary Technologies which were defined by the President of the

Laboratories:
The laboratory provides the qualitative and quantitative analyses of
gene-modified elements in food components, prepared food products, raw
materials, and fodder.
The laboratory examines chemical and
physical properties of foods: the qualitative and quantitative amount of amino
acids, proteins, vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, Bc, C), minerals, synthetic dye ingredients (E102,
E110, E122-124, E127-129, E131-133, E142, E151), preservatives, herbicides,
organic acids, sweetening agents, etc.
