Scientific and technical council (STC) is a consultative body. It
unites all scientific powers of the Institute. STC is formed to consider
scientific proposals according to the strategy of developing the scientific
activity, to coordinate the functioning of the Institute subdivisions doing
the research, to organize the cooperation of researchers, and to solve
scientific, practical and innovation problems.
Functions
- Determination of the strategy and top-priority
directions of the scientific activity;
- Analysis of scientific conceptions and programs
according to the Institute profile and organization of their
fulfillment;
- Analysis of the scientific activity efficiency
and its contribution to the Institute development;
- Development of the proposals in creating the
mechanism of investing the knowledge-based technologies worked out in
the Institute;
- Creation of the conditions for training highly
qualified personnel.
Activity directions
- Development of recommendations and conclusions
concerning the scientific provision of the Institute development;
- Analysis of technical, economical, and other
scientific research projects;
- Development of recommendations concerning the
Institute interaction with academic and applied sciences;
- Formation of favorable conditions for the
scientific personnel to reach its creative potential;
- Coordination of research projects in the Region
directed to the acceleration of scientific and technological progress;
- Improvement of the informational provision of
our researchers with the international achievements in the sphere of
science.
